Community Support Line Calls

*Based on the past year

When the existence of sexual abuse or domestic violence is established, it’s a shocking realization, and so many components of the victim’s life fall apart. To navigate their journey, they need practical and emotional support.

Founded in 1995 for the Jewish community across New Jersey, Project SARAH is their safety net, offering wrap around support and prevention education, so that not only do victims no longer suffer in silence – they gain clarity, confidence and strength to move past their trauma – and move forward.

Project SARAH's services are free and include clinical treatment, support groups, training programs for camps and schools, legal assistance and case management.

By reserving your seat, you’re taking a stand and making the world a safer place.

Abuse and domestic violence does not discriminate. It can happen to anyone; your neighbor, your friend, your child. It’s time to ‘Take a stand’, to show victims and survivors that you stand behind them – and to support critical prevention programs that promote healthy relationships within our community.

in survivors' own words

They help those who feel helpless
After I separated, when I first reached out to Project SARAH for financial advice, they asked me what I was doing about Yom Tov, which was around the corner. I was so choked, I couldn’t speak for five minutes. I hadn’t even called about that! They help those who feel helpless and lost, in a non-judgemental way. and they put them on their feet.
Project SARAH truly believes in a better future for you.
The one message I kept getting from the Project SARAH team was ‘These are your circumstances now, but they won’t be in a few years.’ They’re all about moving you to the next step of your life. They truly believe in a better future for you.
It was like having
an army behind me.
It was such a shock when I learned I was a victim of abuse, my whole world collapsed on me. So many departments are affected when one has to leave but Project SARAH was there all round. They helped me with everything from finding an apartment to opening a bank account. It was like having an army behind me.

I appreciate how thoughtful and well communicated your guidance was on such an intimidating and obscure topic for so many parents.
